Local Elections
We have received a notice of Election from ERYC for Councillors in the Wolds Weighton Ward which is relevant to us.
Also notices for certain Parish Councils of which we are not one. I have put the notices on the village notice board on the Bus Shelter but attach a link to the documents as well Here
Just as a note, I see that to vote at the polling station, you will now need to provide photo ID, which could be a passport, drivers licence, older persons bus pass or Blue Badge. The document does not need to be current apparently, but you need to be recognisable (I may need to shave my beard!)
Aternatively you can register for a postal vote or proxy vote, see www.eastriding.gov.uk/elections or go to the local library or customer services for assistance
