Many of us in the village have pets and livestock so as we are approaching Bonfire Night if any one is letting off fireworks could they let their neighbours and those who have pets and livestock know that they will be letting off fireworks on a particular night, as animals can get frightened and distressed by the noise of the fireworks.

The bonfire & fireworks will now be held on Sunday 1 November 2015.

 

Gates open from 5.30pm

BBQ open from 5.30pm

Bonfire lit at 5.45pm

Firework display at 6.30pm

 

Tickets will be available from Lumley's or The Black Horse:

Adults - £5 in advance, £7 on the gate

Under 16's - £3 in advance, £4 on the gate

Family ticket (2 adults + 3 under 16's) £16 in advance, £20 on the gate

Under 3's are free

I have had a comment left on the website asking if we could just ask if any one is letting off fireworks other than on bonfire night if they could let their neighbours and those they know who have pets that they will be letting off fireworks on a particular night, as animals can get frightened and distressed by the noise of the fireworks. The person didn't leave their name but just thought I would pass on the reminder.
