The Rural Sounding Board was established as a way of gathering Councillors opinion on a range of topics. It has two separate Boards, one for Local Authority Councillors (one per member authority) and one for Parish Councillors (one per Parish Council as part of the Rural Services Community).
This information will be used to inform our research and enable Councillors to share their views on key issues affecting their local area.The first survey was on The Impact of Austerity Measures on Local Services.The results of this survey were presented at the recent AGM in London on 17th November.They can be accessed at this webpage:
