Minutes of Bielby Parish Meeting AGM
Held on Monday 11th May 2026, 7.30 pm at Coffee and Coe courtesy
of Richard and Christine Coe.

4. Reports:
a. Chairman’s Report.
Thanks were given for another successful village show in 2025. Also to the
team that organisnd worked so hard to deliver a great celebration party for
VE80 in Steve and Sara Ridsdales barn on Gale Carr Farm..
b. Treasurer’s Report.
Elizabeth gave a summary of the current state of the bank account and a copy
of the accounts for distribution to those attending. See Appendix 1
c. St Giles Church.
John Peel also read out a statement including an update on the situation
regarding appointment of a new priest. The architects quinquennial report which detailed
a substantial scope of worksrequired and the potential addition of an extension to
facilitate community use.
Upgrading works to the gateway to the church amongst other topics. see appendix 2
5. Election of Officers for 2025-2026: Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer.
There being no other candidates for the positions or Chair, Secretary and Treasurer the
officers were re-elected as follows
Chair - Chris Emptage p Richard Coe; s Neil Readman
Secretary - Graham Tew - p Helen Walton; s John Peel
Treasurer - Elizabeth Miers p Margaret Wilkinson s Chris Emptage
