 Road Repairs

Villager may have noticed a copious use of yellow paint on roads in and around the village. These are indicating where repairs are necessary and will be carried out in the next month or so.

I am advised that only the areas marked in yellow will be repaired as the cost of tarmac has increased substantially as a result of the war in Ukraine.

I am reliably informed that we will receive seven day’s notice of when the work will commence (unlike the emergency closure of the road at the Everingham end of the village).

Once we have been advised I will update the Bielby BLOG. It will help the council repair team if residents can avoid parking on or near any of the yellow road marking.
