The council is holding several of these meetings over the next few months.
The topics for discussion will be:
Recent national and local proposed changes to legislation and planning processes.
Service development updates.
Any other items to be raised by T/P Council’s.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has convened an overview and scrutiny review panel to review how it communicates with town and parish councils. As part of the review process, a short survey is being undertaken to seek the views of each town and parish council.
A PDF version of the survey is attached and it will be discussed at the parish meeting on April 23rd. The survey on behalf of Bielby will be completed and submitted based on the outcome of the discussion at the meeting so, if you have any comments about the survey please come to the meeting and join the discussion.

New Floodline Number
We have been advised by the Environment Agency that the Floodline telephone number 0845 988 1188 is being deactivated on 1 April 2018 with only 0345 988 1188 being available.
Any calls made to the 0845 from the beginning of April will receive a recorded message asking them to redial the 0345 version. This message will remain in place until October 2018 after which any calls to the 0845 number will be to a dead line.

ERY Clinical Commissioning Group - Changes to urgent treatment services
As you are hopefully aware from Wednesday 4 April 2018, patients with an urgent injury or illness that is not serious, life or limb threatening can arrange to go to their nearest Urgent Treatment Centre or 8 to 8 Centre for treatment.
East Riding of Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Group is carrying out a promotional campaign to raise awareness of these new services. Please see attached link aimed at informing local residents when the current Minor Injury Units will be closing along with the opening times of the new Urgent Treatment Centres and 8 to 8 Centres.

Good Friday BIELBY Church open 10.00 am to 5.00 pm for private prayer and reflection - simply come and go as you please
EASTER DAY BIELBY 9.15 am Holy Communion
