Just wanted to remind you all that it's social night at the pub this Thursday (3rd March).
So why not wander down to the College Arms and have a drink and a chat. Mike and Jean are always so friendly and welcoming and you're bound to see some familiar faces and maybe even make new friends too!

Local Musical Talent - Palms 13

Please support our local talent! Finn Henderson is a 4th year pupil at Pocklington School. He has entered a competition with his friend Billy Russo-Gill.

They are performing Paolo Nutini’s ‘Pencil Full Of Lead’ and need as many votes as possible before the end of February to gain a prize of some new recording equipment which would help them produce better recordings of their music at home. His band is called Palms 13 and they are one of the final ten acts selected in the OrtoPilot’s Live Lounge vocal competition.

Bra Recycling For Charity

Lisa is collecting bras that people no longer want, to give to charity to be sent to Africa (charity shops here can't sell them so they just get shredded, but there are lots of women who could use them.)

So, if anyone has unwanted bras, maybe sizes that no longer fit, or they don't like the style, drop them round to Lisa.

They must be washed and in good condition, but that's it, any size, colour, style gratefully received.

Sam is going on an expedition to Morocco in the Summer and needs to raise some money for the trip.
