Village Meal Sunday 15th December

Pocklington Rugby In The Community Charity Christmas Meal

I am involved with this new charity and rather hastily we are able to provide a free Christmas lunch next Wednesday at the rugby club. It is really for people who are feeling lonely, isolated and struggling at this time of year, male or female.

Dale has just let me know that the Lions will be at Stoneleigh with Father Christmas and his sleigh at 4.30pm on Saturday 14th December. All welcome to pop down.

Western Parish Liaison Meeting 22nd January

The next western parish liaison meeting being held on the 22^nd January. The six Ward councillors will be in attendance at this meeting for us to air any issues we have. I am willing to attend this meeting to represent Bielby if anybody has any issues they would like me to bring up. I will not attend if I don’t receive any. So if you have anything of concern please let me know by the 6^th January.

Coffee Morning at Cherry Court Thanks

Pete and Val would like to say a Very Big Thank You to their family, friends and villages who helped and supported them at their Final Coffee Morning at Cherry Court, on Saturday 23rd November 2019. They were delighted to have raised a Grand Total of £955.00 (their most ever) to be shared between St Giles Church, Bielby; York Hospital Butterfly Appeal and Woldgate School Peer Mentor Programme.
