Jubilee Celebration Save The Date

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee will take place in June 2022. The Jubilee weekend is the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th June. 

 The village would like to mark the occasion with a celebration on Saturday 4th June 2022 so please save the date. 

Location Ridsdale's barn. 

 

Food Ideas We are looking at getting outside caterers to provide food. 

Any suggestions/contacts please let us know. 

Entertainment Ideas Music and Dance - any ideas for entertainment please let us know. Children's fancy dress competition.

Red, white and blue themed party. 

Design/make your own Crown competition. 

Large garden games. 

Possible entertainment for the children - last jubilee we had a magician. 

Again any good contacts let us know. 

Other Ideas Give the children in the village a Jubilee momento - coin/medal. 

Plant 70 trees and bluebells. 

Plant red, white and blue flowers.

• Duck Liver Pâté, Cherry Sauce, Homemade Spiced Cranberry & Orange Toast
• Fresh Fruit Platter with Raspberry Sorbet (vegan)

Main

• Roast Breast of Turkey served traditionally with Festive Trimmings
• Roast Sirloin of British Beef, Yorkshire Pudding and Roasted Potatoes
• Fillet of Salmon with a Tomato and Red Pepper Velouté & Crushed New Potatoes
  
• Camembert & Cranberry Tart served with Dressed Leaves & Roasted Potatoes (v)
• Mushroom Pasta with Chilli and Coconut and Dressed Leaves (vegan)

Price: £25 for three courses, £22 for two, Service extra. 

For children under the age of 10:

Price £12.50 for three courses, £11 for two courses.

Village Christmas Lunch - Save the Date

Dare I say Christmas is fast approaching and I am sure many of us welcome the chance to get out and see people as things are opening up.

Nadia is organising the Village Christmas Lunch this year, so if you would like to come please save the date Sunday 19th December at the Oaks.

The restaurant has a limit of 50 so it will be on a first come first served basis.  The price is £25 for 3 courses and £22 for 2 courses and half price for children.
