Keep an eye on the clock folks; the restoration work is planned for April.

Bryn’s Burgers will be there with lunch for the workers

Teas in the garden.
St Everilda’s Church will be providing teas for Ellerker House Open Garden day. This is one date only (April 19th) and proceeds will be for the continued upkeep of the Church.

Village Hall committee meeting on 11th March  -- a few items for your attention
New heaters – please turn them off when you leave! They had left on.
Double doors – Mike has repaired them. They had been allowed to swing open in strong wind, which caused a split in one door. Mike and Phil are going to fit restraining bars on the doors.
Boules court. Mike suggested a boules court is made to commemorate the Tour de France.
New windows – the windows need replacing. Nigel E has been busy getting quotes, going to meetings and filling in application forms.

Inn nights – it was decided that the bar closes at 11.30 on inn nights. There is a rota on the bar, please sign up when you can help.  ‘Use it don’t loose it’ .

Beer Festival on Saturday, 7th June. This is being organised by Guy Falkingham of Yorkshire Brewery in Beverley and Chris French. There will be more details for you in the next newsletter.

Next issue of newsletter.
