At the Parish Meeting on Monday it was proposed that we have a competition for Planters along the street in the village and make it even more beautiful throughout the flowering season!

The competition will be judged by Chris and Jan Emptage as they have no street frontage, so they can be considered impartial to some extent (Bribery is another option too)

The winner will be announced at the Village Show in August and Chris and Jan will donate a cup for an ongoing annual competition. So …. get a space cleared on your boundary/verge, (so long as it is safe to do so) and create a floral display in a tub or planter and show us your horticultural skills. for everyone to enjoy.
